week 3 post

 From Wednesday to Thursday in week three we had the great opportunity of participating on band camp. Matamata middle school and Cambridge intermediate were there too we learnt 3 new pieces of music. we also learnt how to do equations with decimals in maths. In Maori we had to write a story about the Waikato river. In WIMS football practice we had a match against the girls WIMS team. We started to do science we did a experiment with teabags. We lit the top of the tea bags and they burnt up then at the last second it started to float upwards.

term 2 week 2

In maths we were learning about unknown angles and revised a bit of geometry. We were learning how straight angles and triangles both have 180 degrees. Mike King came and gave us a lecture on depression he told us his life story. He also told us how he got over his addiction and became a comedian/ lecturer we all learnt what depression is and how to get help and how to help someone. We finish of some writing. In band we learnt some new songs including Micky mouse march and supercalafragilisticexpialadocious. We continued to work on our trucks in wood work and learnt to use filler. In writing we learnt about sentence fragments and run on sentences.
